HKEPC reports that NVIDIA will release 3 performance optimized DirectX 10 graphic cards in mid-April, including GeForce 8600GTS, GeForce 8600GT and GeForce 8500GT. All of them are stronger than AMD RV630, according to internal test results from manufacturers. Based on G84, the whole GeForce 8600 family is all fabricated by TSMC with 80nm technology. The top model, GeForce 8600GTS, codenamed G84-400, has a core speed at 675MHz, and features 2GHz DDR 128Bit 256MB graphic memory. GeForce 8600GTS is therefore expected to give more power than GeForce 7900GT.

The second top, GeForce 8600GT, codenamed G84-300, would be a weaker version of GTS, where its core speed is lowered to 420MHz or below, and features 1.4GHz DDR graphic memory only. GeForce 8600GT is expected to give more power than GeForce 7600GT. On the mean while, NVIDIA also plans to release new value G86 product, GeForce 8500GT, codenamed G86-300. Based on G84, its architecture is much simpler, and it will be fabricated by 80nm technology as well. GeForce 8500GT is expected to give more power than GeForce 7600GS.

All G84 and G86 except G84-P400 would have no HDCP and native HDMI support on this release. Yet, since its rival AMD makes these features in all of its upcoming RV630 and RV610, source cited NVIDIA's promise that the company would put in these features in later time Besides, the 3 models mentioned above, 2 more G86 models will also soon to be released, namely GeForce 8400GS and GeForce 8300GS.

At GDC this week, NVIDIA unveiled a major update to their suite of developers tools. Having built developer tools for over five years now, and investing millions of dollars into the program according to NVIDIA themselves, these tools allow game developers to work faster and more efficiently, getting us games faster. With DX10 gaining in popularity, slowly but surely, the need for more advanced tools is increasing.

And because using their tools helps to sell NVIDIA graphics cards, all of these developer tools are FREE. NVIDIA took some time this week to give us some information on the updated tool kit.

First up is the new SDK 10.0 that provides code samples for the all-new Direct X 10 as well as OpenGL. These code examples are mostly written by NVIDIA's engineers and teach the developers how to take advantages of the new DX10 class GPUs. As you might imagine, there are tips and tricks for tweaking code for NVIDIA's GPUs too.

NVIDIA is also introducing GPU-accelerated texture tools that can compress textures up to 10x faster than on a CPU alone. This in effect extends the video card into the GP-GPU arena by running code that would regularly be placed on the CPU. Because this is very GPU-dependent, this kind of feature might be less likely to find its way into major software titles in order to not alienate AMD's ATI graphics card users.

PerfHUD 5.0 is probably one of the more interesting of these tools even when you are NOT a developer. This software is incredibly powerful and is used for GPU debugging and performance profiling.

With this software the developer can pause the game engine, edit the shader code and see the effects in real time as they would appear to the user in a game. The ability to change these kinds of settings without a time consuming recompile is definitely a time saver, as someone who comes from a computer science background can attest to. The PerfHUD also shows information on performance in an overlay that can display information like GPU load, fractions of shaders working on pixel versus texture code, memory states and more.

Another tool that is updated in this release is the new ShaderPerf 2.0 that helps developers tune shader performance. It runs in conjunction with another application called FX Composer 2 that is used for shader creation. The FX Composer app allows developers to great shaders and see results in real time, integrate those shaders into a developer pipeline and then get performance metrics for various NVIDIA GPUs thanks to the ShaderPerf application.

Finally, NVIDIA is bringing a shader library to the developer kit that includes more than 100 HLSL shaders created by NVIDIA and other contributors. This allows developers to use an existing shader if they wish or start with an existing one and modify to suit their specific needs or to customize the effect.

We have revealed in our earlier article that we will start seeing GeForce 8600 GTS, 8600 GT and 8500 GT cards on April 17th and it seems that NVIDIA has plans for two more lower end models; 8400 GS and 8300 GS slated for late April or early May. This time round, NVIDIA has a different naming for their low end G86 series; GeForce 8500 GT, 8400 GS and 8300 GS instead of 7300 GS, 7300 LE, 7100 GS based on G72 core. Perhaps we can also see GeForce 8200 and 8100 in the future.

GeForce 8500GT is based on 80nm TSMC process and has 128-bit memory interface. It seems that the rest of the G86 family will be 128-bit as well so it will pose a great threat to ATi RV610 which has only 64-bit memory interface. GeForce 8500GT will be clocked at 450MHz core and has 256MB DDR2 memory clocked at 400MHz (800MHz).

We have some preliminary scores for you at this point of time where its performance is slightly better than the current GeForce 7600 GS series. Its 3DMark06 scores (1280x1024) stood at 22xx and 3DMark05 (1024x768) scores stood at around 42xx on a Core 2 Duo X6800 processor. Its DX10 performance is yet to be seen. 8500GT will be priced between US$79 to US$99.

According to the article, G90 is an improvement on the current G80 architecture and there won't be any major changes. G100 will be a total new GPU architecture. There isn't too much information on G90 and G100 right now but we could see them by Q1 2008. G100 will match up against AMD R700.

WE HAD AN interesting revelation while wondering the halls of Planet Reseller, here in Hanover.
Sadly, the booth we stumbled across was un-manned but on it a company named AlphaCooling was showing a water-cooler for an upcoming dual-PCB GeForce 8950 GX2.

As you can see, the cooler has all the right ingredients to cool down the dual-PCB G80 - the block encompasses the NVIO1 chip, GPU, memory chips and ends up at power regulator.

We estimate that the block is some four to five millimetres thick, which is nothing compared to other water-cooling blocks we have seen before. Makes you wonder what's flowing inside the block

سلام نسخه OEM اين كارت هاي سري R600 كه قرار بود واسه خودش هيولايي باشه با 1024 مگابايت و نميدونم زول �?لان قدر و قدرت �?لان قدر، اصلا ميباد يا همش سركاري بوده و قرار همش همين HD2900XT باشه؟ من كه حسابي از ATI نا اميد شدم. �?كر مي كردم بعد از همه تاخير و بعد از اين همه برتري كه روي كاغذ داشت بهتر از اين ها كار كنه.... نا اميد شدم بد...... حالا با وجود اين معماري كه اين همه روش تبليغ شده مي ترسم آخرش كار دست AMD بده! �?قط يه چيز، گه ATI مي هواد بازار رو دست بگيره بايد توي رده ميان قيمت ها قوي طاهر بشه، نه اينكه مثل NVIDIA بياد اينقدر خست به خرج بده كه كارت هاش با وجود قيمت هاي نجومي اينقدر ضعي�? باشند. خوب ATI يك بار در زمان �?رمانروايي كارت هاي گرا�?يكي سري Radeon 9xxx اين كار رو كرده و NVIDIA رو تو بازار ميان قيمت كنار زده، ببينيم ميتونه با وجود اينكه R600 و جانشين او R650 چندان انتظارات رو برآورده نكردند، اين كا رو بكنه يا نه.....

First look: SLI priced as mainstream computer



Until now we've showed you two 8800 Ultra's, one that is overclocked, EVGA's SuperClocked 8800Ultra, and Gainward's BLISS 8800Ultra at reference clocks. EVGA is clocked higher but that didn't stop us to do SLI and overclock the Gainward card to match EVGA.

You guessed right, we tested the Geforce 8800 Ultra SLI at "Superclocked" clocks of 655 MHz for the core and 2250 MHz for the memory. For now we will just show you the 3Dmark results, since we are just testing Lost Planet DirectX 10 and the results will be here shortly, so be sure to check them out soon. As we play around with Lost Planet you can check out what these cards can do in SLI. Bear in mind that these two cards come with a price tag of a normal mainstream system, about 1500€.

We tested them under Windows XP, then under Vista. 3DMark for DirectX 10 is going to come out soon and what we can see from the results is that older 3DMark versions will work better with DirectX 9 and Windows Vista. We were surprised to see that after enabling SLI under Vista, we had to restart the system, which is not the case under XP.

EVGA Geforce 8800Ultra works at 655 MHz for the core and 2250 MHz for memory, while Gainward works at reference 612/2160MHz. When paired in SLI both cards works at a reference 612/2160 MHz. The situation is different than before when the clocks in SLI adapts to the faster card. Now we had to set the clocks on the cards manually to 655/2250 MHz. Gainward's card did well with EVGA "SuperClocked" clocks and we didn't encounter any issues during the test in SLI.

XFX does make an overclocked version of the GeForce 8800 Ultra in the XXX edition, but for the price one might as well go with the traditional 8800 Ultra and overclock it yourself. This can save a decent amount of cash on a card that already costs significantly more than the previous models, but it does offer the best 3D performance currently on the market.

2) eVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTX
While the prices for the previously top of the line GeForce 8800 GTX haven't dropped significantly, they are still dramatically less than the new 8800 Ultra. Performance is still quite strong from this Direct X 10 card. eVGA also offers some extremely strong support for their products as well as a remarkable Step-Up program for upgrading a card just in case something new comes out.


3) BFG Tech GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB OC2
BFG's 8800 GTS 640MB OC2 is one of the fastest overclocked 8800 GTS cards on the market. This puts performance levels not that far behind the once top of the line 8800 GTX cards but at a much lower price. Sure, the difference in performance right now between a 320MB and 640MB model isn't much, but the extra memory will likely help once the Direct X 10 games start coming out

Sapphire Radeon HD 2900 XT
ATI's first Direct X 10 compatible card is a mixed blessing. It certainly can't compete with NVIDIA's top of the line cards, but it does have some unique features. It is the first card to fully support HDMI with audio processing as well. This means no bypass is necessary between a sound card and the graphics card. It also supports hardware acceleration for all current high definition video codecs.


5) EVGA e-GeForce 8800GTS 320MB Superclocked
Normally I don't generally recommend overclocked cards for purchase as most normal cards can be overclocked with very little effort. The eVGA 8800 GTS 320MB Superclocked is a different matter. For just a slight increase in price, users are get a guarantee of one that will overclock that puts performance quite high but for a very reasonable price. The only real drawback is the lack of memory on the card.

دوستان �?قط اینو اضا�?ه کنم که در کامپیوتر نیازی نیست که حتما کارت گرا�?یک خروجی Hdmi داشته باشه و مبدل های این کابل ها در بازار آزاد �?روش میرن.

بعضی از این شرکت هایی که خروجی Hdmi از مبدا می ذارن،به نوعی کاربر را به سمت خودشون می کشونن که حقه تجاری/تبلیغاتی هست و ارزش �?نی نداره.الان در استاندارد Hdmi ذکر شده که صدا هم باید با تصویر باشه،ولی این کارت گرا�?یک اصلان ورودی صوت نداره که بخواد صوت و تصویر را با هم داشته باشه.

Just a day after we uncovered the existence of NVIDIA's GeForce 8950 GX2 and GeForce 8900 GTX, our friends in Taiwan confirmed the news. The GeForce 8950 GX2 is a dual chip card based on a new 80 nanometre G80 chip, probably codenamed something else. Both GX2 GPU's are clocked at 550MHz and the difference is GDDR4. The card comes with twice 512MB of 256-bit GDDR4 memory clocked at 2000MHz. The card has 96 shaders, per chip and it will be priced at $600. But that isn't all of the refresh coming from NVIDIA, along with the new shrinked G80 chip will come some extra products to fill the market and go head to head with the Radeon X2800 series. - The Inquirer


The second in NVIDIA's spring line-up is the GeForce 8900 GTX clocked at 700MHz GPU and 2200MHz memory. The chip still has a 384-bit memory interface and comes with 768MB of memory. The card uses a new 80 nanometre chip and has 128 shaders. Compared to the Radeon X2800 XTX it will end up shorter on clock and memory interface. The GeForce 8900 GTX is priced at $550. Meanwhile, the GeForce 8900 GTS is a new card clocked at 600MHz GPU with 2000MHz GDDR4 memory. It supports the 320-bit memory controller and comes with 640MB of memory.

Apple's new super-sleek Imacs heralds more than just a design change for the Cappuccino-based firm - it marks some prime inventory movement for the boys at AMD/ATI.
Until yesterday, and the release of the new models, ATI had its graphics chips in just two of the thirteen standard Macs - its X1600 cards were available in the mid-range previous-gen Imacs - with Intel below and Nvidia 7300 above.

The new Imac line is all-ATI, instantly doubling the company's share of the Mac graphics business.

Here's how the numbers break down today:

Intel: 5 machines
Nvidia: 4 machines
ATI: 4 machines

Intel has the GMA 950 inside both configurations of the Mac Mini and all three standard configurations of the Macbook, Apple's consumer portable. Nvidia has the 8600 GT, in both 128MB and 256MB models, inside the three Macbook Pro models. None of these are configurable with any different graphics. It also has the default spot in the Mac Pro, Apple's high-end desktop, with the option of a swap-out to a card of your choice. ATI now has the 2400 and 2600 inside all four standard configs of the Imac, with no possibility of a swap out.

The three companies are vying for prime placement in the machines, which is more of a prestige spot than a guarantee of real sales volume. The real winner, however, is Intel - regardless of who's graphics chips get the nod, every mainboard in a Mac is an Intel chipset, leaving no room for any competition there. µ

خوب این هم جدول کامل سری ای G80 که سری 8900 گذاشته یا مشخصات

راستی کسی خبر از تاریخ ورود این کارت ها نداره من که خیلی گشم ولی هیچ سایتی اصلا نگ�?ته بود !



سلام.آقا خواب دیدی خیر باشه.لط�?ا یکم Update تر باشید. به قول امیر قلعه نوی بیاید به مردم اطلاعات درست بدیم.این مقاله که شما این جدول رو از توش درآوردی مربوط به ماه �?بریه (6ماه پیش) بوده و در اون موقع �?قط کارتهای سری 8800 به بازار اومده بودند که اطلاعات این دو کارت درسته.ولی بقیه کارتها همه پیش بینی بودند که همه هم اشتباه از آب در اومدند.به عنوان مثال کارتی به نام Geforce 8300 یا 8600 GS نداشته و نخواهیم داشت و اطلاعات کارت 8600GT هم کاملا اشتباه هست.مطمئن مطمئن مطمئن باش که هیچ کارتی به نام Geforce 8900 به بازار نخواهد اومد.از الان باید به �?کر کارتهای سری 9 بود.

با سلام.گ�?تم شاید بد نباشه یک تجربه کوچولو رو به اطلاعتون برسونم.من در مورد کلیه کارتهای سری 8000 از 6-7 ماه قبل از ورود کارت 8800 هر روزه توی اینترنت دنبال اطلاعات جدید بودم.هر از چند گاهی هم در مورد یکیشون یک سری شایعات توی یک سایت منتشر می شد و در کمتر از 24 ساعت توی تموم سایتها همون اطلاعات عینا کپی می شد.هیچ کدومشون هم هیچ وقت واقعیت پیدا نکردند.مثلا گ�?ته بودند که کارت 8800 در ماه ژوئن به بازار می یاد که نهایتا در 8 نوامبر ریلیز شد و حتی اطلاعاتی که تا 4-5 روز قبل از این تاریخ هم در اینترنت منتشر شده بود باز هم با کارت نهایی کاملا منطبق نبود .الان هم هر جای اینترنت که بگردید همین اطلاعات رو در مورد 9800 پیدا می کنید.ولی زیاد جدی نگیریدشون.الان هم من در مورد همین اطلاعات حداقل سه مورد ایراد نه چندان بزرگ می تونم بگم که برای طولانی شدن مطلب ازش می گذرم.البته اگه دوست دارید با گ�?تگوی بعد می تونم توضیح بدم.

من خودم اطلاع دارم و من نگ�?تم که حتما منتشر میشه ولی شک داشتم برای انتشار برای اینکه بیشتر سایت های بزرگ مثل Vrzone هم درباره این سری بحث کرده بودم حتی در خود �?ورم سایت Nvdia
ولی نمیشه گ�?ت امکان داره نیاد باید دید که چه پیش میاد حتی معلوم هم نیست سری G90 درست باشه چون من خبری در سایت Nvdia ندیدم !

از سوی دیگر برخی از منابع خبری نیز گزارش می دهند Nvidia روز 12 ماه نوامبر را جهت ارائه تجاری چیپست های گرا�?یکی G92 در نظر گر�?ته است و هد�? از ساخت این چیپست تنها بهینه سازی نمونه های قبلی است و نه ارائه یک پردازنده گرا�?یکی �?وق العاده کلاس بالا (ultra high-end).

نه آقا.اون شایعات قبل بود که می گ�?ت G92 کارت گرا�?یک High-End سری 9 هست.اگر چه هنوز هم همه حر�?ها بیشتر شایعه هست. ولی همین شایعات می گه که G92 از همون سری 8 هست و در رده MainStream هم هست نه HighEnd . به عبارت بهتر هنوز سرور کارتهای گرا�?یک همون 8800Ultra هست. به نظر من هم این خیلی منطقی تر هست.چون اگه سری های قبل کارتهای Geforce رو بررسی کنید می بینید که همیشه هر 17 یا 18 ماه نسل کارتها عوض می شه در حالی که Geforce 8 هنوز در نوامبر 1 ساله می شه. اطلاعات دقیق تر G92 , G98 (Gefoce 8700)

باشه من به خاطر آقا امید این کارو میکنم
كارتهاي g92 حدود 9 اينچ طول خواهند داشت اندازه ی 8800GTS اما اون1 Slot داره ورژن PCB(printed circuit board) هستp393 مموری های 1 نانو ثانیه ای DDR3 به ترتیب 16Mx32x8PCS مرتب شده اند کارت خروجی هایی مثه HDTV ,HDCP,DVI اما port display نداره انتظار چند PCB جالب و سیستم های خنک کننده از کارته میره

خبر مهمتر در مورد G92 هست که دو نوع 256 و 512MB داره. قیمت مدل 256MB حدود 200 دلار و مدل 512MB حدود 250 دلار هست. تاریخ انتشار هم که قبلا گ�?تم 12 نوامبر هست. پس با این حساب باید تا دو سه ماه دیگه علاوه بر دیدن این کارت قدرتمند در بازار شاهد کاهش قیمت اساسی کارتهای دیگر از جمله 8600GTS که الان 250 دلار قیمتش هست باشیم. خداییش هم خیلی ت�?اوت هست بین 8600GTS که 128 بیتی هست با 8700GTS که 256 بیتی هست.از ت�?اوت بین این دو کارت همین بس که 8600GTS توی بنچمارکهای مختل�? که دیدم از 3DMark 2006 حول و حوش 5500 امتیاز می گیره و کارت 8700GTS [ ادعا شده که ] با Core2 Quad 6700 حدود 9700 امتیاز می گیره.(حالا 700 تاش هم که خالی بندی باشه 9000 امتیاز رو حتما می یاره).لازم به ذکره که توی همون بنچمارکهایی که دیدم 8800GTS از 3DMark2006 تقریبا 9300 امتیاز می گیره.اگه اینقدر ت�?اوت بین 8700 و 8600 رو باور ندارید یک سری به مقاله "کارت گرا�?یکهای عقیم شده" در همین سایت سخت ا�?زار بزنید تا ت�?اوت 128 بیت و 256 بیت و یا 64 بیت و 128 بیت رو ببینید.من که به شخصه از همین الان این کارت رو برای خرید انتخاب کردم و تنها گزینه ای که منو 1% ممکنه منصر�? کنه RV670 شرکت AMD/Ati هست.
در مورد G98 هم باید بگم که کارت 64 بیت هست یعنی همرده 8400GS

خبر مهمتر در مورد G92 هست که دو نوع 256 و 512MB داره. قیمت مدل 256MB حدود 200 دلار و مدل 512MB حدود 250 دلار هست. تاریخ انتشار هم که قبلا گ�?تم 12 نوامبر هست. پس با این حساب باید تا دو سه ماه دیگه علاوه بر دیدن این کارت قدرتمند در بازار شاهد کاهش قیمت اساسی کارتهای دیگر از جمله 8600GTS که الان 250 دلار قیمتش هست باشیم. خداییش هم خیلی ت�?اوت هست بین 8600GTS که 128 بیتی هست با 8700GTS که 256 بیتی هست.از ت�?اوت بین این دو کارت همین بس که 8600GTS توی بنچمارکهای مختل�? که دیدم از 3DMark 2006 حول و حوش 5500 امتیاز می گیره و کارت 8700GTS [ ادعا شده که ] با Core2 Quad 6700 حدود 9700 امتیاز می گیره.(حالا 700 تاش هم که خالی بندی باشه 9000 امتیاز رو حتما می یاره).لازم به ذکره که توی همون بنچمارکهایی که دیدم 8800GTS از 3DMark2006 تقریبا 9300 امتیاز می گیره.اگه اینقدر ت�?اوت بین 8700 و 8600 رو باور ندارید یک سری به مقاله "کارت گرا�?یکهای عقیم شده" در همین سایت سخت ا�?زار بزنید تا ت�?اوت 128 بیت و 256 بیت و یا 64 بیت و 128 بیت رو ببینید.من که به شخصه از همین الان این کارت رو برای خرید انتخاب کردم و تنها گزینه ای که منو 1% ممکنه منصر�? کنه RV670 شرکت AMD/Ati هست.
در مورد G98 هم باید بگم که کارت 64 بیت هست یعنی همرده 8400GS

Leadtek has announced yet another low profile card in its Geforce 8 series, WinFast PX8400GS TDH Extreme.

Leadtek claims to up to 30 percent higher performance when compared to the other Geforce 8400GS cards. The new card has an 80nm Geforce 8400GS GPU that works at 500MHz. The card comes with 256MB of GDDR2 memory that is clocked at 1000MHz. Shader clocks also had a slight bump to 1200MHz. Those clocks are a pretty high, almost high as the older brother 8500GT. Reference clocks for the 8400GS are 450MHz for the core, 900MHz for Shaders and 800MHz for the memory. Card is still crippled by the 64-bit memory interface.

The new 8400GS is cooled by "exclusive air-flow system" that cools both the GPU and PCB, and it features a small low-noise Rifle bearing fan.

As the entire Geforce 8 series this card also support DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0. The card comes with one Dual-link DVI-I, one VGA and TV-OUT.

The HIS HD 2900 Pro 512MB GDDR3 VIVO PCIe (PN: H290PR512DVN-R) unveils that HD 2900 Pro will feature the same 320 stream processing R600 GPU and 512-bit memory interface used in all ATI HD 2900 XT graphics cards

The only difference between the two cards will be the clock speeds, 600MHz/1600MHz core/memory for HD 2900 Pro (reference HD 2900 XT clocks: 740MHz/825MHz core/memory). HIS also recommends a price of $249 for the 512MB GDDR3 version of HIS HD 2900 Pro

ضمن اینکه من �?کر میکنم ممکن هست ATi در این �?رصت ریویژن جدیدی از چیپ R600 رو تولید کرده باشه و درنسخه Pro بکار بگیره که مثل ریویژن G80 A3 گرمای کمتر یا TDP پایینتر داشته باشه و بتونه بهتر کلا ک بشه . البته این �?قط یه حدس ولی منطقی که ATi این کار رو کرده باشه. مگر اینکه ATi از چیپهای Low Bin R600 که به �?رکانس لازم برای بکار گیری در کارتهای HD2900XT نمی رسیدن به تعداد کا�?ی در اختیار داره و می خواد ازشون در Pro است�?اده کنه و ریویژن جدیدی در کار نباشه.

Nvidia will shortly introduce the Nforce 630i, its new chipset and we've learned that it will name the graphic part Geforce 7150.

Nforce 630i is a single chip chipset, but Nvidia believes that branding the graphic part of the chipset can help boosting its sales.

Nvidia is one mean marketing machine and we know that when it comes to marketing, these guys know how to make the hype. This chipset should be announced within the next few weeks and some boards are already done.

HD2900 PRO works at 600MHz
1 GB version to come

DAAMIT will launch two versions of R600PRO cards both clocked at 600MHz. This is 140MHz slower than the Radeon HD 2900XT but it will be cheaper at the same time.

The 512MB Radeon HD 2900PRO will cost around €200 while the 1 GB version will cost about €260 at launch.

Performance wise it will be slower than Radeon HD 2900XT and at the same time it will be slower from Geforce 8800 GTS.

It is scheduled to launch any day now but AMD wont make a big launch of it.
